Pillow cakes are actually so easy to make....it was an 8" square that cooked with a high dome. Perfectly shaped. I torted it, filled it and froze it. I shaved off the edges on the bottom half to make it rounded and then I iced the cake and refrigerated it. (Only cause colette says it's easier to put fondant on a cool cake.)
Anyway...I elevated the cake, rolled out the fondant and placed it on top. Just smooth it down underneath the cake and trim the corners. It took about 3 minutes. Then decorate it any way you'd like....
Thanks for asking!![/quote]
One more question, since you have to refrigerate the cake once you ice it, how do you get the fondant to stick to it?
Its always about cake!!
