and to make sure I've not short changed myself again, how much would you charge for this:

1 6in chocolate fudge cake decorated with chocolate sauce, chocolate malt balls and white chocolate shavings

PLUS 140 2x2in fudge brownies decorated with chocolate fudge icing, and 1/2 with crushed chocolate malt balls, half with white chocolate shavings.

I don't want to discover that I done another profiterole tower on myself (much stress and work for little money!).

$ amount is fine, I know how to adjust that for my location and supply circumstances icon_lol.gif !

Thanks for your input!

Go with $2.00 per serving.

With all that chocolate, you've not only put in a LOT of $$, but the extra efforts it takes to make the ganache, shavings, etc., is well worth your charging on that level.

Just my 2 cents, hope this helps!
Best of luck to you!

I think $2.00 per serving is a fair price. The cake and brownies sound yummy!

Well whadda ya know! I actually got it right for a change! $2,00 is equivalent to E1,56, so 140 of them is E218,40. I've quoted E220 for the brownies and E30 (about $38.50) for the 6in topper, plus stand hire, set up and delivery (1 1/2 hours away) for a total of E340 ($435). She was obviously pleased with the price (which made me think I'd under-priced myself, and for an Amsterdam wedding I probably have icon_lol.gif !), because she said yes and is transferring a 50% deposit to my bank account this week. I think I will keep a tally of my basic costs and the time I spend doing this project to see if I got it right! Thanks for your help girls!
