Hi.
I need to do a football helmet cake for my husband. He is a New Orleans Saints fan, and their colors are black and gold. Does anyone have any suggestions for getting the buttercream a nice shade of gold. I don't think using Luster Dust would work - if I decorate with the startip. Any suggestions??? Most of the helmet is gold, and the logo is black and gold. Help Help...its only a few weeks away! Attached is a photo of their colors.

Antique gold luster dust could be brushed on top of fondant or airbrushed onto icing but I think you could get the same color (no shine) by coloring your icing an antique gold. The color chart I use says to mix an extremely small touch of leaf green to golden yellow.
