Mousse Fillings?

I would like to know if anyone has a good mousse filling (no chocolate), that they would like to share. I'm not sue what type of cake would be good but I would like a combination to stand out at the kids' birthday party..Any suggestions moe then welcomed...Melissa

I have made strawberry preserves whipped with pastry pride.. I call it a mousse... I love it. and it would be good with other fruit as well.

You can take any flavor instant pudding and use whipping cream instead of milk to create a very mousse like filling. Make it richer by adding a couple teaspoons of flavoring, like vanilla or almond. This is a very easy delicious way of making a mousse like filling.
