ARGH!!!! I am NOT happy. I KNEW I should have done this days ahead. I used the 3D cake mix recipe on this site. The cake is yummmmmmy; however I can see the heat core through the front of the bear!!!! (As I am cooling it!!) I should probably just dump it now! What a waste! ARGH!
I guess I didnt have the core in the bear properly! Wonder if I still can salvage this thing? HOW FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!!
the bear is cooling...and i shoved the inside back into it!!! It seems very fragile!!!!!! I wonder if the head will come toppling off? Or if the cooling process will proove to make this thing more durable? Hmmm.......
It is getting late....guess I will just leave it! Nothing I can do about it now!
i havent had much luch with the large bear pan either, of course i've only tried it once and was frusterated.
guess we'll keep trying

I followed the instructions given with the large 3d cuddly bear and made it with the pound cake mix and regular cake mix and have had great luck both times that I made it....I first let it cool standing up on its head then trim the overflow off and put it upright for a little bit then I open the front to release the steam let it sit for 3 or 4 minutes and flip it and reveal the back then I leave it laying down in the pan for about and hour...I then pull the core out and use a plastic knife to release the cake from the inside of the core. I always frost the cake that I insert back into the core opening to make sure it adheres to the rest of the cake. by this weekend I should have the photo posted of the last one that I did. I hope my steps may be able to help you in the future
Ditto after brennafaye. Never had a problem following the same instructions. Good luck!
