After hearing a very silly rumor, yet still against my better judgment (and I completely expect this to be deleted immediately), I am posting this to let you know whats up. The rumor that I heard is:

People are even saying we bored her to death or annoyed her so much she left.

Nothing could be further from the truth (it is funny, though, how people who have never asked me have decided what is wrong with me- that can be annoying, for sure!). In fact I miss all of the members very much. A couple of things went on behind the scenes that I am just not comfortable with. Since no resolution could be made due to lack of communication on someone elses part, I left. This has absolutely nothing at all to do with any of you.

Life is short and full of stresses. I am very quick to leave a board when unnecessary stress is involved. We have things in our lives we just cannot control. This stress is controllable. I come to these boards for fun and relaxation. The second it is no longer fun and appears that it will not change any time soon; I simply leave (after having tried to resolve it). As much as I love it, I still cut it out if it is stressful.

Every one is free to email me and drop me a hello now and again. I never once found anyone boring or annoying; at least not any one of the members.

Just in case you will pop on again, Glad to hear you are ok... as stated in my email to you... you are very much missed! I will not hesitate to email you if I need to... hugs and stuff!

yes you really are missed I am glad that it isnt your health and that you are for the mos part alright I pray all works it self out for you and the others. Be blessed!

Calidawn, you are very missed, but totally understand that whole stress issue, when you do have control of having it or not, always go for not, it's not good for us! Sending much happiness your way! God Bless!

Calidawn I second what everyone else has said, your presence and wealth of knowledge is truely missed. Please know that we all care and wish you great things.

I'm sorry that something has caused you to leave because you really are missed. I was so worried it was something like a major health issue, or something really bad happened to your house. But I never assumed it was something like the rumor that you stated was going around. I hope that you and the person who is having an issue with you work things out. We want you back and you are truly missed.
I did not feel comfortable emailing you about what was going on out of respect for your privacy. I felt that if you wanted to share with us...or even with just the moderators you would have done so.

Hi cali4dawn! Although I have only know you for a short time, you have been so helpful to me and I am ever so grateful to have you on board with us again. Miss you not only for the gifted talent that you have, but for the given of your time and effort to help when ever needed. Dawn, just continue to look up and be encouraged cause you have a friend who does not even know you that cares.

I too loved this forum for the short time I was ( I THOUGHT) welcomed here. However I found the site admin. rude and intolerable , however the rest of you have been angels and I so enjoyed it! Some people however get on a power trip and cannot see an innocent mistake...so I asked to no longer be a member and wish you all the best to ALL of you ...you are a great bunch of truly talented people!!

I have to say, I am sorry that because of one problem that came about because of the member mistake would push someone away...

I don't know you personally, but from your messages and your webpages you seem to be a sweet lady. I wish I could help you out. I hate to see someone leave a whole community over one person. Your tutorials and knowledge have helped ALOT of people. Your Bct has helped me be very creative. Your doctored red velvet cake was a big hit with my family. And I am attempting the Chocolate explosion for Father's Day. So see you have given us all something.

I'd like to add something to this...

I am a friend of Dawn's. She has never shared w/ me or any of her friends about what went on behind scenes. That should speak for Dawn's character!! She hasn't talked bad about anyone or hasn't talked bad about CC. She is a very nice person! She will not waste time in something she doesn't agree with. That's Dawn! I really think everyone should let this go & move on. Dawn is fine & Dawn will continue to be fine. Whatever happened is between her & that person.

whatever it was, it was something that caused her to leave, and i wish this could get resolved. the person who is involved should do the right thing or else leave, if he/she hasn't done so already. it just makes me soo mad that we can't just be civilized adults and respect one another and just come to cc to chat about what we love most...cake decorating!!!!
