Hi all!

I borrowed the book from the library eons ago and tried the chocolate cake recipe and liked it...of course, I didn't make a copy of the recipe. So, I am hoping that anyone out there can send me the recipe. I can't remember the exact name but Chocolate Butter cake rings a bell....the recipe had coffee in it.

If you could post it here or PM it to me that would be so fantastic!!!

Thanks in advance everyone!

If you just substitute strong hot coffee for the water that is called for in the recipe, it will make any chocolate cake have a great taste

Oh, I definitely agree with you there. What I liked about this cake was the texture, I found it to be quite light and not as dense as most chocolate cakes can be. The colour was also unique, not so much brown as it was kinda black like an Oreo.....this is from memory though so I may be wrong on the colour!
