I thought that is what the forums were for, sharing information and ideas? If that isn't what it is for, then you could just have a FAQ section and not even worry about having a forum. I know for some people it takes a lot for them to even get up the "courage" to post when they're a new person to that group. It personally doesn't bother me to have things repeated, but then again, I am new at this and appreciate all of the information that is shared.
You are so right with your comments and suggestions, cause I'm kinda of new also and have tried recipes that I would be too embarred to give to a friend and they are recipes from CC, so ya, you have to question these kinds of things and I have also saved these recipes in the recipe box so that I don't use them again unless I experiment with other ingredients to make the recipe better to my liking. If we do not know something, then we ask. It is just like anything else, i.e. I did not know somethings before I joined CC, but I continue to use the site, I get better at things and take notes for myself and when I learned of an idea or recipe, I like to share. I do not want to put religion in this catagory, but I always reflect back on the scripture where it says: "God loves a cheerful giver" and that is me. So I don't mind likewise helping and giving to others like all of you here at CC.
