So, I attempted to make the Bronwen cake she did in the ACD newsletter~ first time working w/ piping gel and I did not like it! It was just not coming out smoothly out of my tips! The fondant I made wasn't working for me either, it kept tearing and when I added more PS~ it would separate! Just not my night! icon_sad.gif I ended up finishing it..learned alot for next time!

Any critiques would be VERY VERY greatful!

TFL!

I think that the gel is one of thos ethings that you really have to have just the right design for, too much is overkillm and too little is just weird LOL. I think you did a good job

U are so right momof5kiki. When I was putting it on, I was thinking it was way too much~ but if I didn't put it on, it looked weird...but my husband & DD thinks it turned out wonderful! So, as long as they are happy- I'm happy! icon_smile.gif

I used the wilton piping gel...it didn't really have a taste to it...so I'm not sure- it was just hard to manage!
