Is it me, or does the no fail recipe not yield 5 dozen average cookies?

I made some cookies tonight, just for practicing new icings..

I made simple 2.5 inch round, 1/4 inch cookies

I got maybe 2.5 dozen ..

So, what do you normally get out of the recipe?

I just made some for the first time this weekend. I halved the recipe. I used cookie cutters ranging from 2-4 inches. I rolled the dough to about 1/4 inch thick, some thicker towards the end and I got 33 cookies out of it.

I get 3 dozen 3 1/2 inch round cookies. I roll them out on a silpat mat with parchment on top so I don'e use any flour and can use all of the dough. Works great!

I don't remember what I got from the No-Fails, I only made them once but I use big cutters, I don't like dinky cookies! icon_lol.gif I use the chocolate rolled and that's accurate for the size I use, about 18 cookies.
