I am making a german chocolate cake today.. is there a way to decorate a german chocolate cake... or should I just put the german chocolate cake icing all over it?

I saw one posted with chocolate bc basketweave on the sides with the german chocolate icing on the top, looked great too!

Oh yum!! how do you make your chocolate BC?? with cocoa powder?

You could also add chocolate BC roses to the top.

i have never made chocolate BC.... does it taste good by adding the cocoa powder?

Try adding melted chocolate in your buttercream. I heard that this is good too. I've never tried it yet.

I usually add melted chocolate to my regular buttercream to make chocolate buttercream.
