Refridgerate Carrot Cake W/ Cream Cheese Icing?

I am making a Carrot cake for mothers day. I will be making CreamCheese frosting. my plan is to make the cake on friday, and frost it on Saturday to be eatin after brunch on sunday. Can i leave the cake w/ the cream cheese frosting out over night or should it be refridgerated? Thanks in advance for your help

Thanks, maybe i'll just decorate it Sunday morning, since my fridge is quite tiny and probably won't fit the cake in it.
