Since you have an obvious prefrence to scratch, scratch, scratch... and seem very successful with your cake business, would you mind sharing some of your recipes? I'd love to try them!

Well to be honest with you, my first scratch cake was a chocolate one. I got the recipe from the back of the Hershey Cocoa container icon_wink.gif
Colletes recipes are good too, but I don't have the book here at work...I will post them later on tonight or tomorrow...

The recipe on the back of the hershey's cocoa can is my favorite chocolate cake and my chocoholic customers love that recipe the most!! It's easy too!

That is the most moist cake too... It is weird though... adding the boiling water makes the batter so thin you just can't believe it bakes into cake. icon_surprised.gif I LOVE that cake.

I know this is an old thread, however, I posted the Hershey's recipe in a thread on the How do I forum. I think the thread is called "? about Wilton pans and cake mix." I posted their frosting recipe later in the same thread.

That Hershey chocolate cake is amazing and by far my favorite!!!!! And it even tastes better the day after making!!!
