Hi guys!

I wanted to try these cookies but was wondering can I use Self Rising flour? Do I need to omit anything if I do?

I am really not a from scratch baker, so I have no clue. I usually do the premade dough cookies and boxed cake mixes.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The no fail cookies do not have leavening, so they won't spready and puff. If you use self-rising flour, you will not get the same results. It will still taste fine, but you won't get nicely shaped cut-out cookies.

You really need all-purpose flour for these cutout cookies, unless it doesn't matter what shape they are in after baking.
