My sister and I took the all three wilton classes together. After the first class, when she basically screwed up on the frosting, she asked me to make her frosting the rest of the time. I have a KA she does not. So I graciously made all of her frosting for the whole rest of the time. When all of our classes ended and she was still making cakes for co-workers she would still ask me to make her frosting but she started feeling guilty about it.
Well this past weekend she did not want me to make it. She knew I had to do a cake for mine and a co-workers birthday and that was after I ran a marathon on Saturday. So she went and bought a KA this weekend. She called me on Sunday aft. saying that her icing was so dry. She was making choc. buttercream so I told her to compensate with more water since she a adding more dry ingred. She said she already had and that she would do the best with what she had. She first thought maybe its the KA. It was her first time using one, ever. No one but me touches mine.
Then she called me Monday night when she was putting on the final deco. saying she knew why the icing was dry. She had relied on me for so long that she forgot that the bag of powdered sugar is 2lbs and not 1lb. She had put in double the sugar. We had a good long laugh and we are still laughing about it now.
funny one!!! now she'll be able to make her own! you'll laugh this one out for years!!!
have a nice day

She'd be crazy not to like hers. I actually think she is more thrilled that she doesn't have to wait on me to make it. I've always been a very last minute, cram as fast as you can type person.
