Hi you all,
I'm thinking of doing one of these barbie cakes for my daughters birthday - and a Batman for my son (twins!)!

Anyway does any of you know where I can get some info on how to do the barbie cake - that probably sounds a bit silly to you if you do them all the time, but I have no idea how to do this? I'm thinking how to drape the fondant around and also how to cover the doll without it looking silly?!

Thanks,
Bmote1

In the search area type in doll cake or barbie cakes there are a lot out there and if you pm them they will help you out no problem.

I will be doing my first barbie cake next week. I think i'll just do butter cream. I know a suggestion that they give on here whether your using the wonder mold or pyrex bowl use a single 8" round cake underneath so the doll doesn't look like she's falling.

Yes your cakes are awesome. I can't believe you need help. Great job on those cakes. If you look in my pictures I did a doll cake but I used buttercream for the skirt and fondant for the top.

Take cake
