Mine (which I got a month ago) is the 6qt, and just plain white, but that does not matter to me - don't know how I worked without it!

There are two special occasions for me right now Mothers day and my Birthday.

My DH just ordered Kitchen Aid Artisan Series 5-Quart Mixer, Empire Red from Amazon.com

He wanted to give me a big surprise but my daughter told me about that.
She is just 3 and half and always watching foodtv with me. So while watching one program suddenly she told me that Dad is going to give you That big Mixi which was on the TV that time.
And you know I was just .surprised.

I got nice surprise before his shopping.
He don't know that I knew so now I am like

But anyway I am very excited and happy. I think I am not sleeping well till the delivery I mean KA delivery.

I do not currently own a kitchen aid but after my online research I think I will purchase mine at amazon.com they have free shipping and 25.00 off and look at this color, wow!!!! I love it!!!

Mine is just white (Artiasn ) BUT I only payed 125.00 for it ! It was refurbished. I got it on amazon almost 2 years ago. I love it even if it is white!

Mine is TANGERINE!!!!! was a Christmas present last year and then my best friend got me the matching toaster i have my eye on a blender but its not kitchen aid its waring and i am soo in love with it. its the same price as the KA one so for my bday thats what my hubby is getting me he just doesnt know it yet!!!!!

I just got one for Mother's Day--it is white to match my kitchen. I wanted a red one, but it was a surprise gift and I am just thankful I got it!

Mine is white. I've had it since 1990 and it still works like a dream!!

I just last week got a new 6 quart in Cinnamon metallic. Very cool. I also have a 4.5 quart in white that I got on sale last summer from Amazon and a red 4.5 quart that I got for a wedding present in 1994. The red one recently shorted out and I need to take it to a KA center for refurbishing. Does anyone know anything about that?

I have a RED 6 QT and for back up I have my mothers white 4 Qt from 1973......it still works great....all I could use now is more counter space! but they sure look great together!

TANGERINE!! Mine is the Artisan 5-Qt stand mixer - and my little baby. My husband got it for me the first Christmas we were dating (as well as for my birthday) - he was so worried I'd be angry with KitchenAid for a gift. He knows better now!! My KitchenAid is almost all tangerine - if not that, then Cobalt Blue!

I made the mistake of getting a Sunbeam stand mixer because it was about $100 less than the Kitchen Aid. Although I enjoy using it, it just doesn't have the type of attachments I would rather have, and it doesn't have the capabilities of the Kitchen Aid. It's white and I like the fact that it looks "1950's", but will hopefully get a Kitchen Aid in the near future. Would love the stainless steel like MARTHA has! LOL
