I am trying to make sure I have the right size cookie cutter. I have an order for 6 dozen star cookies. She wants a 4 inch cookie. I bought the Wilton comfort grip cutter. When I measure it from point to point, it is just over 4 inches. But when I measure the inside area, it isn't that large. I guess I am trying to compare it to a 4 inch square cookie and it isn't measuring up, LOL!!

I am hoping a much more seasoned cookie maker can help me out. This is my first order for someone I don't know so I am probably worrying too much over it. icon_eek.gif

TIA

As far as I was aware, cutters are measured on their longest points, so in this case the tip of one star point to the other furthest away - hope that helps!

Thanks, that's what I keep remembering too but figured I better check in case I remembered wrong. I think I am just too nervous about this for some reason.
