Although, I love Antonia's royal icing I would like to change it up a bit. What do you guys recommend? TIA

I add some almond extract as well as the vanilla, just add to taste, and it tastes really good (smells good too!). You could do lemon or orange if you wanted. Pretty much any flavoring, although not the oils since that would not be good for the icing!

i use the mccormick schilling extracts - they have strawberry, pineapple, and their newest flavor - raspberry!

I always exchange all the water and flavouring for the same amount of pure lemon juice - everyone loves the taste!

Ya'll are going to think I'm nuts but I use just a drop or two of Loranne's oil flavoring. Rapberry, almond & butter rum all get rave reviews. I also use Antonia's recipe and it makes the icing taste great!
