can you use egg white powder in place of meringue powder. and if so is it the same amounts etc. anyone know? Thanks!

You can use egg white powder to make meringue, but you'd need to add sweetener, stabilizer/s and flavoring.

The meringue powder IS egg whites with everything else needed already added.

An analogy would be Knox gelatin and Jello. Gelatin is a component of Jello, but they're also not interchangeable.
