I saw a picture of a book cake (graduation) with what looks like a diploma on the top. It was made with a frosting sheet and fondant and was slightly rolled but you could still see the writing on the "diploma".

Has anyone done this? How thin should the fondant be and how does it stick since there is hardly any moisture in the fondant. I'm thinking gel or moisten with water, but wasn't sure if the printing on the sheet would bleed?

Thanks!

I haven't made a diploma but I have used icing sheets on fondant. Just mist or brush the fondant lightly with water and attach your icing sheet.
