I found out today that my kitty likes BC icing.. icon_eek.gif
I just think it's weird, I don't use milk in it. It must be the butter. Now I have to put all my cakes up so he doesn't lick them to death......

Here he is....after the frosting....

I had a dog that would look for people's discarded chewing gum. She would chew wads of gum for hours. icon_confused.gif

My sister's cat just discovered a love of BC too! He was caught licking it off her cake for our Wilton Class. Now she has to be careful too! Good luck! icon_smile.gif

Yeah, he looks guilty, alright!

Don't you know, they think they're human, and will try to eat anything they see you put in your mouth? I had a cat who ate potato chips.

Dogs are even more human. My dogs liked fresh fruit, raw broccoli and cauliflower with ranch dressing, and popcorn - buttered, of course.

My cat likes coffee...black! No cream or sugar. And she knows she's not allowed on the table...but will risk getting in trouble over coffee. Go figure!!!

icon_sad.gif My doggy died 2 weeks ago, she was 17 yrs old. She was the one who would eat my scraps, especially the ones that fell on the floor. I cried the other day when half of a cake broke and fell on the floor, there wasn't anyone there to eat it! icon_cry.gif

Yes, my kitty is adorable, he is smart too, he wakes me up at 7am every morning by dropping my glasses on my face icon_biggrin.gif

I am so sorry about your dog!

Nothing breaks your heart more than the little things that sneak up on you, like the cake on the floor.

My sympathies,

J.

mizshelli, sorry to hear about your dog.

My dog is almost 2 and his favorite thing to eat is tissues! He will sit next to my 75 yr old mother at the kitchen table and try to sneak tissues out of her pocket! It's really quite amusing!

When my DD was making her cake for the cake show, we discovered that one of our cats likes coconut. All three of them like tomato sauce, and I found two of them at the ranch dressing yesterday. I guess that's what I get for not picking up dirty dishes right away.

I have one cat that likes fondant, the other likes the crusting cream cheese, and a former cat that liked chocolate popsicles.

Yeah it is common for cats to actually lick butter straight even though this makes them sick.... but I'm finding the animals are developing a taste for what we eat right along with us... I have a pantry in my basement and this is the first year we havn't had cats...now we have mice...they had options... a large box of instant oatmeal was left untouched while they proceeded to down 12 small snack packs of pringles chips.

My cats love any kind of baked goods. We have to hide them in the cabinets. Our microwave always has cupcakes and cookies hiding in it.

My dog likes popcorn, he pretends to fall asleep on my arm while I'm eating a bowl and then when I least expect it he sneaks a bite and takes off running. Animals are so amusing!!!

I'm glad you posted that link. My dog loves frozen grapes - he doesn't get a lot of them, so I will have to cut them out completely.

I used to have a cat that loved canned pineapple and oranges. It was so cute because he was de-clawed and if you were eating pineapple or orange he'd reach up with his little paw and grip your hand with his little fingers and pull down towards his mouth. Sooo cute. As for my dog, she would eat anything and everything. I've had to take her to the vet several times for eating something she shouldn't have. Any of you that have dogs or cats should read up on that website that peachshortcake posted. A green tomato fell out of my window one day and Casey ate half of it, I called the vet to see if it would make her sick and they said to bring her in immediately, he said green ones that are raw could kill her but if they were fried she'd be okay, they contain strictnine (sp?) or arsnic (sp?) can remember which one. I also had to take her for snatching my chocolate cake off my plate, she had that thing eaten in about 2 seconds, and it was huge. She's crazy....
