Chocolate Ganache Disaster.........i Think

Help? I made the chocolate ganache 1 recipe from cheftaz on this site last night. Long story short, we had a power outage for about 1-1/2 hours and I had potato salad, strawberry tuxedos, supper and the chocolate ganache to make all at the same time. The only thing that went well was supper, because I was grilling, but since we lost power and my gas stove has electric start, I was helpless with the rest. When we finally had restored power, I made the tuxedos and potato salad at the same time, and waited to do the ganache last. it turned out great and tasted great (i have never made choc. ganache before)- I let it cool to room temp and then started to spread it on top of my cake, then i decided to refrigerate it to get a better consistency to ice the sides of the cake, and pipe some borders. Well, needless to say I decided to wait until this morning, and left the ganache in the fridge all night. Now I have a solid chocolate mess. OK- so it's not a short story- bottom line is, can this be reheated and used on my cake, or will it become runny? If I can reheat it, how should I do it- just reheat to melt again, or boil? Or, should I just start all over? HELP!!
A power outage stalled my baking a week ago too, so I feel for you. You can put the bowl of ganache over some simmering water (like double boiler) and slowly get it melted. By the way, even though you have electric start on your gas stove, you could have used a match to light it... I only have electric stove, so when the lights go out, I am really stuck!
Just reheat it gently til it softens, the consistency will go back to the runny one that you originally had when you heat it. If this happens just sit it out again and wait for it to cool to the right consistency for your need.
