I have noticed that some of you individually wrap your cookies in your cookie bouquets. Where do you get those plastics bags? Also, if you just wrap the entire thing what do you use? I am not sure which route I want to go with it. I have never does this before, but am wanting to do some for Mother's day for my family. Thanks in advance for the help.

For wrapping each cookie individually, there are many sources for the bags. Wal Mart, Michael's, anywhere they sell Wilton. Although the Wilton bags are a little pricier. Hobby Lobby has a decent price on them too (not Wilton brand).

Online sources are:

As far as wrapping the entire thing, I'm not sure what they use, but I bet you can find something on one of these sites!

HTH!

I use shrink wrap bags made for gift baskets when I wrap the entire bouquet.......I bought 100 different sized ones for like 40 bucks through a wholesale gift basket supplier thingy.....but you get them at the craft store individual for under 2 bucks for 2 or 3 in a pack depending on the size you need. As for the individual cookie bags I get mine in the birthday party section at wal-mart or party city........they are the clear cello treat bags!! During the year they have really cute seasonal ones for holidays too. they're like 1 dollar for about 30 bags I believe..........I have also heard that the dollar stores are now carrying these too.

I purchase bags for my cookies from a bulk food store. They're same bags they use for their spices. I think they call them their 3 lb bags. They are gusseted so I dont have an issue with my cookies not fitting.

I get my shrink wrap bags from the dollar store. Sometimes i just use cellophane from the dollar store as well.

A lot of people prefer to just wrap the bouquet and not the individual cookies however, I think wrapping the cookies individually helps to keep them a bit fresher. Also, once the wrap from the bouquet is removed having them individually wrapped keeps them from being sneezed on, bugs landing on them, unwashed hands caressing them etc

I purchase my bags from Hobby Lobby. They are alot cheaper than the wilton bags and I never have a problem with them being stuck shut like the Wilton bags.
I always wrap the cookies individually because they stay fresh longer. I mean if you wrap the whole thing and not each cookie, what do you do with all the cookies after it has been opened? You can't (or should not) eat them all at once.

st trim them down to size and tie a ribbon around the stick to hold it together.

You can get cello rolls at wal-mart, there are very cheap. I get my bags at E-bay, you can get very good deals and if you buy a few items from the same seller you'll save on shipping. I buy my bags, ribbon and tissue and it cost me a lot less and considering gas prices today I would say that you save more than you think.
Good Luck!

Has anyone ever used Cello in a Box? It's got the ribbon and everything.... I saw it on a WAHM forum.

I just use the clear party favor bags and cut them to fit whatever size cookie I make. I get them at the dollar store, 30 for a dollar, with twisty ties.
