My Course 3 ends next week. I want to make a wedding type cake to send in to my sister's workplace. She has 3 people there who have daughters getting married this year. I want to impress them, so I have decided to make my cake flavors other than yellow or chocolate. The butter pecan cake from Betty Crocker looks real yummy, but what would be a good filling to compliment the flavor? Any ideas out there?

Thanx for all the great ideas and input on this site, everyone!

Yummmm, butter pecan. How about middle layers soaked with rum or rum (non-alcohol) flavoring/extract moistening syrup, with a caramel buttercream?
