There is a yummy Dulce De Leche in a jar. I've found it at Walmart in the ice cream topping sections.

I've also boiled an unopened can of condensed milk for 3+ hours for a great carmel filling. (The directions have been posted around here somewhere. icon_smile.gif)

This is the one I use that was posted on this site (I can't remember by who) and I LOVE IT! It's simple and tastes great- excellent with chocolate cake!

8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
6oz caramel ice cream topping

Cream powdered sugar and cream cheese
Add caramel topping and blend well
Cover and let rest in refrigerator until thick

I'm just reading it again and realized I don't even mix it right..lol I blend the cream cheese and caramel together and then add a LITTLE powdered sugar. The first time I tried it, I didn't think it needed a full cup, the caramel is sweet enough for me. I add maybe a 1/4c.

I make my own caramel. I boil two cans of FAT-FREE sweetned condensed milk until I get the consistancy I want for the caramel and use that as a filling. Alot of people I know are watching what they eat so this helps alot for the calorie intake.. It tastes REALLY good too..
