What Do You Charge For Your Cookie Bouquets?
Baking By Newatdecorating Updated 5 May 2006 , 8:13am by nickdrewnjaysmom
This question is for all people who have sold cookie bouquets. I am considering doing some to sell. Please share with me what you charge for your bouquets and the number of cookies it includes. Thank you in advance!
Check out the discussion a few threads back, on this forum, posted by Darra. Consensus seems to be $1 per inch for cookies plus costs for your packaging. (so, 3 inch cookie cutter equals $3 cookie. Charging $2.50 per 3 inch cookie sounds reasonable, also, especially if you're selling them in groups of 5 or 6).
Hope that helps.

check out this site........you wanna talk about making money....guess first it depends on the quality of the cookie, then on your decorating skills, then on your area...........I used to sell gift baskets and all the research we did said to figure in all your expenses and times that by three.....then add on what you want to be paid and there is your price......so if it cost you 5 bucks to put together....that would be fifteen, plust 10 bucks an hour...3 hrs, baking, decorating, clean up (at least) that's forty five bucks!!! anyhow....just check out that site....they're making a killing.
ok dumb question - when you say, $1 per inch, is that hieght or width or does it just depend on the longest?
i take my cost and multiply by 3. I got a cost matrix for cookies from a member of this site and it is awesome for pricing everything out.
