Hi! My first post here!

I am wanting to do some cookies today and dont have any meringue powder to make the royal icing, can I just use egg whites as a substitute? And if so, what is the ratio? Any help would be appreciated

Welcome to Cakecentral.

Here is the link to the royal icing made with egg whites. Remember, raw egg whites can pose a very small health risk for children and immune compromised people. Be sure the egg whites are fresh and from a good source. Otherwise, pasteurized egg whites can be used.
