I have a big wedding cake due Saturday morning, and I'm needing some sort of cake base! Can anyone share some instructions on how these are done? Thanks!

I'm not sure what you mean by "puffy cake stand/bases".

If you look at my pictures, the one called leaning tower of cake, I made my own version of the puffy cake base. I also put the directions for in in the comments part. It was really easy and only took about 20 minutes. I had got some directions on the internet one time and it involved a lot of sewing and elastic, etc. so I came up with this idea on my own.

Oh, I should say it was my poor use of dowels that made the cake lean, not the base, I thought the base was pretty sturdy.
