Hi Ya'll,

I was wanting information about chalk. So many books say to brush flowers with it for color. What kind of chalk do I use? I don't think it is my kids play chalk or is it?
Please help I am so unsure.
Thank you
Charli

There was a post about this the other day; someone said to use the pastels that they sell at michaels or walmart; I'll see if I can find it.

You can also buy the one stationary stores sell. They look like
the way "Eye Shadow" boxes, w/ the square thingies come. they're non toxic. icon_smile.gif

I can say that eating pretzels during art class when using these, it was not a big deal. I wouldn't recommend eating the pastel chalks, but they won't hurt you. They just taste, lol, chalky.

To get dust, don't bother with a grater. Take a textured paper (construction paper works GREAT) and rub across it a few times. These make enough dust to cover anything in the area.
