A couple of days ago when I first came on this site I saw a thread about a buttercream icing transfer. Can someone post a link to that thread for me, I can't find it now and I did a search but it didn't come up. I would like to try it but I need instructions on exactly how to do it and was also wondering if you can use plastic wrap instead of wax paper or does it worl better with the wax paper?

The instructions are under the articles link. I have only tried it with wax paper, I think the plastic wrap would stick too much to the buttercream.. Good luck!

I would stick to wax paper. I think it would release better.

Yup, that's it. Thanks you very much. I think I might try this technique this week. Looks way easier than drawing it on.
