Hi,

Okay, this might sound silly but I want to do a topper using an image printed in colour on cardboard. Most pics I have seen print the image on edible paper and then place that on fondant.
I would like it to be printed on both sides so that the image is visible from both sides.....

Any suggestions on how to go about with this? I'm not sure what to use as a 'pick' as such without getting a kind of buldge where the toothpick or skewer will be bwtween the two pieces of board.

Hope this makes sense.

You could just download anything you want and print it out........just download two of them........I would use the foamcore board, and glue a pic to each side....... then maybe cover it in clear Contact paper......... you could get a toothpick or small skewer into the core, and it wouldn't show as a "lump" on your pic.

Hi Shamani,

Is there a reason that it needs to be on cardboard?

Fondant and two mirror-image edible images would be so good, and you could hide the toothpick within the layer of fondant. Of course you would have to add some tylose powder to the fondant.

The only reason I was thinking of carboard is because I have not worked much with fondant and I was thinking of how I was going to cut around the picture. It is a picture if Tinkerbell by the way.
