Help. Evil Mother in law wants it on her cake and I have no idea how. Thinking of just adding tosted and purred hazelnuts to regular buttercream but don't know if that will be enought hazelnut flavoring.

I've added nutella to regular buttercream to fill and cake and it was really tasty.

You can buy Hazelnut Flavoring just as you can buy vanilla, lemon etc. Sometimes supermarkets carry those flavorings in their ''COFFEE'' aisle.
Good luck!!

Do you want just a buttercream recipe or a cake recipe? What kind of cake are you going to make?

Godiva has a Hazelnut BC on their site. It is included in the recipe for Marjolaine Cake. This is not the Crisco kind. You could add Frangelico (sp) to your BC. Just start off with a little bit. You can garnish your cake with sugared Hazelnuts MM,MM, good. If you need more help PM me OK? I will look for more recipes.
