I made a batch of Penny's cookies today and only had time to make about half the batch. Can I freeze the remainder of the dough? If so, how do I wrap it up and defrost it?

Thanks!

You sure can! thumbs_up.gif

When I freeze my dough, I roll it into a ball and then wrap in plastic wrap and place inside of a ziploc baggie. Try to get out as much air as possible.

To defrost, I just place it in the fridge and wait. (It takes a LONG time so plan ahead for time management) HTH! icon_biggrin.gificon_smile.gif

Edited to add:
After you have defrosted it and you are rolling it out, if you find that it is dry or crumbly, you can toss it back in the mixer and add some water or a little extra flavoring to bring back the doughy consistency. thumbs_up.gif
