I made the cake, ganache and mousse from scratch. The cake is covered w/store icing, only cause i thought ganache would be too strong for my family. I was right. While a lot of them loved the cake, some mentioned the chocolate taste was too strong for them. Adding the ganache would have made it 3x stronger. Anyway, I filled the cake w/chocolate mousse, covered with the icing and sprinkled ganache around added chocolate covered strawberries. My cousin loved and savored every tiny piece of the cake. She took the rest home to share with her DH cause it was too good. So she says , her drive was 2 + hrs away, it could have easily disappeared.

beautiful cake!!!! All chocolate has never been one of my favorites. Especially if the customer wants color in it...but you made that work!!
