What is the consistency of candy clay?

That about asks the question. I have to make a 100 cookies for mothers day and I was wondering if I could make some "embellishments" for the cookies using candy clay. TIA

One you make it and let it rest, and then knead it, it should rollable, moldable and pliable. It firms up as it sits into a tootsie roll texture. It is terrific on cookies.

You can make the embillishments ahead and store them in an airtight containter until you want them. They won't spoil, but they are better before the start to really dry out. I have some in tupperware that I have had for months, that are still great.

Eat one of the Wilton Candy melts. It tastes just like that.

I think Candy Clay would be awesome on cookies!! Personally, i think the milk or dark chocolate taste the best. I'm not wild about the white choc. flavor. And just as a little hint too, I found that it was VERY oily so i used paper towel to squeeze out some of the oil.
