Before I put them on the cake, can gumpaste flowers be refridgerated? For some reason I thought I'd better ask the experts. I have visions of them melting or something. Thanks!!!

I put wedding cakes together with gumpaste flowers and they sat in the fridge overnight with no problems.. As long as your flowers are completely dry it shouldn't be a problem.

I would suggest you try a sample first before putting any of your good flowers in the fridge that you will need for a cake, I would have thought the fridge would have softened them.

that's kinda what I thought dky, you'd hate to have them all go soft.

I've done it many times and I've never had a flower or bow turn soft.

I ended up not putting them on until this morning. Thanks for the suggestions!
