I would like to do a 3D pikachu cake but rather than cover with fondant I would rather cover and frost with crusting bc. Do you think it would work? I'm thinking of baking a bowl shaped cake, similar to one wonderfully created by glitterkris and covering in bc. I'm starting to think why bother with fondant if most people don't like it anyway and it can be unpredictable at times especially when trying to drape over unusual shapes. Hmmmmm icon_rolleyes.gif Not sure what to do.

You can use BC, just make it stiffer than normal. It should be fine. Make sure your house or bakery is cool. HTH
