Hi Yvonne,

One thing you may want to look into is getting a "Burvelle's Educated Cake Pan" It is basically a series of blocks that you can arrange to make any sort or letter,number or shape. You can use it again when your daughter turns "2", "3", etc, and you wont have to keep buying new pans.

You can use your computer to make a template and cut it out. Use some of the left over cake to make decorated baby blocks and possibly spell out her name. To go a step further, you can take all the left overs from all this cutting and make bite size cake balls for guests to eat. This way nothing to goes to waste.
