A question to all you cookie bouquet experts - I'm just making an attempt at a cookie bouquet. I've put the sticks in the raw cookies and have put them into bake. I'm not sure they are going to hold, but should I take the cookies off the sheet as soon as they're done, or do I let the cookies cool down on the cookie sheet to prevent the sticks from breaking the cookies? Thank you!!! (Oh, they're due to come out in about 5 minutes!)

Also, I try to loosen them slightly before lifting.

I found that if i try to lift it out just by the stick, it will easily break off.

let them cool or you'll end up with just sticks and crumbs
