Almond Extract And Nut Alergies?

Is this something i should worry about, does it actully have nut in it? Or just taste like it? My customer wants custard and most call for almond extract. what do you think?

Each person is different.... my nephew is allergic to all nuts, but he has never had a problem with my bc or certain desserts I make that have almond extract in them....just to be on the safe side, I'd use vanilla instead.

use can also use imitation almond extract

If someone has a severe alergy to nuts, you'd probably want to be very, very careful and err on the side of caution. Even some imitation almond extracts get their flavoring from nuts. To ne safe, I would only use pure vanilla extract.

and if you really want to use the almond extract, call the doctor and see what they tell you. It would put your mind at ease and it will be a good information to know.
