hehehe... as soon as I get my recipes tweaked to perfection, I will post them to this site!

redhotmomof3: watch out what you ask for, I may just take you up on that offer!

cindy6250: yes, just my basic white cake as a base - I haven't tried all of these recipes YET, but they should all be sturdy enough for carving (PS - wanna join the tasting party?) icon_smile.gif

How about my favorite frozen drink--a BBC. It is bananas, Bailey's and coconut cream. Very fattening but oh so yummy! With a banana buttercream icing it should be out of this world! icon_smile.gif

Has anyone ever had Blackberry wine cake? It is really good. I had some last year at Christmas.
It's a very deep red color and had the wine in the cake and the glaze that was poured on top. Don't know how it would do for a layer cake though, as it is very moist.

I, for one, and very glad it is Friday because I am getting thirsty! Adventurous will come next, so I'll have to test out a recipe or two...how about a chocolate and wine cake?? any idea on how to achieve such a thing?

These all sound delish!!! I think I have to make a stop at the liquor store!!!
I use some type of liquor in almost all of my baking...my favorites are Disorrona, peach schnapps and butterscotch schnapps...I also use the butterscotch in my peanut butter cookies...it gives them a more creamy smooth feel...if that makes sense...

Just reading this post blew my diet!!!! Actually, I'm going to a wine fest this weekend. One of the vineyards makes some awesome wines with peaches, raspberries and blueberries. So if you do figure out how to do the wine cake - let us know!!!
