Using Pastillage In Chocolate Moulds - Can It Be Done?

I have a high heeled shoe chocolate mould that I want to use pastillage in to make a freestanding sugar shoe. I wonder if anyone has tried this and has tips on how to do it successfully?

Yep, sure can...

if you dust it with cornflour first it should pop right on out.
