Ugh! At 11PM I was about to ice my FULL SHEET cake. I propped it on the edge of the table to get the crumbs off the board and it slid out of my hands and on to the floor. icon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_mad.gificon_mad.giftapedshut.giftapedshut.giftapedshut.giftapedshut.gif You can just imagine some of the naughty words I said on that one. The cake is due at 9AM. It was a layer of Chocolate and a layer of Vanilla cake (of course). Luckily I had ingredients to do it over and a huge oven to bake both layers at once. It took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to mix, bake, and decorate with corporate logo and balloons. Whew...a world record.

I hate it when things like that happen! icon_rolleyes.gif

It was so funny... while I was crawling around on the floor last night scooping big hand fulls of cake into the trashcan, I was thinking "I should take a picture of this for my cc pals." It just exploded when it hit the floor. Too bad I didn't have the camera.

I don't think I would have handled it as well as you did! I probably would have started crying! Glad you had the extra ingredients and time to remake the cake. icon_wink.gif I've almost done this myself a couple of times. I get into a hurry sometimes when I'm working in the kitchen. My biggest worry is transporting a finished cake. I always take them out to the garage and place them in a spare refrigerater we keep there. Every trip down the stairs to the garage I imagine myself tripping and landing in my cake. Hasn't happened yet, but just last week I slipped on the same steps while taking some laundry down... so, hopefully when it does happen I'll be as collected as you! icon_lol.gif

Wow, that was done in record time! I couldn't have finished it that fast.
