Hi everyone,

I've finally decided to try the extender recipe on this site for cake mixes, just out of curiosity to see what everyone is raving about. So I finally have a free moment to try it and I run into this problem:

The recipe posted here says 500mL (or 8 oz) sour cream or low fat yogurt.
Which one is it??? My measuring cup says that 500mL is 2 cups, and 8oz. is 1 cup. icon_confused.gif

Thanks in advance!!

I would go w/the 8oz being one cup. that's what I use when I make my cakes w/the extender recipes

If you are using one cake mix, just add one cup. The 500 ml is for 2 cake mixes.

Wow! Thank you both!! I didn't even have to wait 5 minutes for an answer!
I thought 500mL sounded like too much. The recipe needs to be corrected then.
Thanks soooooooo much. I appreciate it.
