Do you have to mix with alcohol? if so.. what works best? do you taste it?

can you just dust with a paintbrush and no additives

I bought some I want to play with this weekend and wanted some tips before I mess it up..

any hints/tips would be appreciated.. thanks...

I've used it dry on room temp chocolate and fondant. If you're going to use it dry on fondant, you'll want to brush it on before the fondant dries/hardens.

Someone also mentioned mixing it with clear vanilla so that's an option if you don't want to use PGA or Vodka.

I had success with a q-tip dusting it onto molded chocolates. Worked great.

I mix it with lemon extract. It's clear and has a yummy scent!

The reason they recommend alcohol is because it evaporates quickly so the fondant doesn't get soggy or melt. You don't taste it at all.
