Can compound coating be used for baking? I'm using it to make white chocolate shells for a wedding cake in May and wondered if I can use it in the cake too. It has a great wc flavor.

I guess I should have called it coating wafers like Merkens. These are actually Clasen and they taste great!

I don't see why not. Once it is melted and mixed with cake batter it should be almost the same and plain chocolate.
