Hi,
I am planning to make some cookies with edible images on them. I have never used them before. Is it OK to use them on Royal Icing? Is there another kind of frosting you would recommend? They are for kids loot bags so I thought royal would dry nicely and be tidy.

I added edible images to dried gumpaste plaques recently, and it worked great, so I see no reason why it wouldn't work on royal icing - especially if the icing was still wet when you applied them..

Thanks! I was planning to put them on while the icing was wet and let it dry for a day or so.

These instructions might also help...

You can apply edible images to royal after it has set using a little water rubbed on the surface.

I've never done edible images on cookies before. I'll have to try it.
