Make a sheet cake , putting fondant hula hoops on top? Ormaybe a round with the hula hoops around the sides? just off the top of my head..or a little girl with a hula hoop on top of a cake?

round cake. Buttercream with tip 12 Make a stripe (maybe even two) of a bright colored icing down one side of bag, then fill with white or contrasting color. Pipe a line all the way around the bottom and one all around the top of the sides for hula hoop borders. If you can, twist the bag as you go to get the swirly stripes on the hoops.
Final step: post results!
This should be a really cute cake!

What about making a funky two or three tiered cake...maybe a topsy turvy with flowers etc.....and then make some gumpaste hoola hoops and kind set them on and slightly over each tier...like make three different sized hula hoops one for each tier and have it kind on the tiers like a sash or something??? Maybe I should draw a pic. it's so hard to describe the craziness in my head!!! LOL

well, you could start with some polymer clay books on making people...they have a great selection at the craft store...or maybe even your local library, then you wouldn't have to pay for it LOL You could make it out of gumpaste and let it harden up really good...then attach a gumpaste hula hoop on her waist......./?????
