I am sorry to be such a bother with this but I am finding all these machines EXTREMELY confusing. Have been on the phone with KA and I can't decide between the Accolade or the 5QT Proffessional. Apparently the Accolade is being discontinued because it has no springs in the paddle area? The Accolade is the more powerful machine between the two.
I am REALLY sorry to be such a pain with all these questions....it is just a lot of money for us at this time and what to make an informed purchase.

I love my Accolade Mixer! I got it two years ago as a Christmas present. I was trying to decide between the Accolade and the professional mixer as well. I decided I wanted the ease of the Accolade....I like the way the bowl attaches better. I make bread, MMF and all sorts of stuff with mine and have never had any problems!!
